cool! game and Fish relocated 50 of them above Cabristo Lake last Summer, closed down the area for a couple of weeks to allow them to settle in.

Some time if you get a chance watch Wild New Mexico..it's on ch 4 or 7 or something once a week.

Game and Fish put on the show and it's a great look into what that agency does to protect, expand and improve wild habitat all over the state. I wholely encourage people to buy a habitat stamp, they cost something like $5.00 and wholly go to habitat improvement and restoration.

Last year there was a 35,000 acre area that had been taken out by fire and without the stamp money they would have only been able to restore a little under 10%, with the stamp money they were able to address close to 65%. They arial seeded a wide selection of "groceries" as well as native trees for the wildlife population.
