I just got back from my trip to New Mexico. We came in from the east on I-40 to Albuquerque, picked up one more friend, Kaya, and headed North on highway 550. We stopped in Cuba to eat enchilada's at Bruno's. Kaya is the artist who painted their mural. The new place is almost finished and they have almost totally recovered from the fire (the second fire caused by lightning). The food is just as good as ever.

We got to Aztec in the evening and stayed at the Step Back Inn where all the speakers of the symposium were staying. It was a lot of fun getting to meet them and eat breakfast with them. The symposium was interesting and we stayed for all the speakers both days. Timothy Good has a new book out that talks about all kinds of stuff, including the landing site in the Manzano's near Belen. I had heard about it, grew up in that area and it was intersting to see his information in a book that coorborated what I had heard.
