Hello, I'm a native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque (Old Town/Sawmill area) until 8th grade, when my family moved south to Los Lunas, and later Belen. I went to UNM from 97-00, but never finished my degree. Instead I joined the Coast Guard, got married, had two kids, and have been living in Virginia (2 years), Hawaii (3 years), and now California (will be 4 years).
Next year I'm getting out though, and am moving back home to ABQ. I'll be going to UNM again to finish my degree. Anyway, I'm hoping to make some new friends here with common aims and values to meet when I get back. I'm looking forward to putting down roots and having a strong sense of place again.
